Information:- Assam Government has launched a scheme known as Pragyan Bharati Scheme for the meritorious girls students. Under this scheme all the girl students who have passed higher secondary(class 12) final examination with First Division will get an electric or petrol based scooty.Candidates can apply for scooty by visiting the website given by the Government of Assam.

Condition for eligibility to apply for the scheme:-
a)Only Girls students are eligible for the scheme.
b)Students must be under AHSEC.
c) Students must have passed higher secondary(10+2) with 1st Division.
d) Approximately 22000 candidates are eligible for the scheme.
Steps to apply for the Scheme:-
i) Visit the official site given by the government.
ii) Login to the system by giving Roll No. as User ID and Registration No. as Password.
iii) Give all the details which have been asked like Candidate name,district etc.
iv) After that you will have to choose which type of scooty you want (electrical or petrol) within 10 days of publication. In case if you don’t choose any than petrol variant will be considered as default.
v) On submitting the request, you will get an acknowledgement slip. Download and take print of it for future reference.
