Assam – Students With Star Marks In HSLC To Reward Rs. 20000/-

Government of Assam is to provide Rs 20000/- to 16,944 students each who have passed with star or 75 percent marks in the high school leaving certificate (HSLC) examination, 2020 conducted by SEBA.

The amount will be provided to the meritorious students under the Anundoram Borooah Award announced by our Honorable Education Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma at a press meet in Guwahati  on  Friday.

“Earlier laptops were provided to the students under this scheme. This year, we are giving Rs. 20 thousand each to 16,944 students. The students will get the money on September 12 or 13. The total budget for the entire scheme will be around 33 to 34 crores,” said by Minister Dr Sarma.

results of Hslc exams for the year 2020 were declared on June 6 Government has already collected the bank Details of the candidates who had passed the exams with 75 per cent or more marks.
