Information:- Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) has discharged official notification for Combined entrance exam (CEE-2020) for Admission into B.Tech. programme For the Session 2020-21 within the Engineering schools of state.
Name of examination: Combined entrance exam (CEE-2020);
State Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for admission to any of the colleges a candidate should fulfill the subsequent criteria :-
(a) The Candidate should be associate degree Indian national and a Permanent resident of state.
(b) For admission the candidate should pass the Qualifying Examination singly within the same sitting with none grace marks within the subject of Physics, Chemistry, arithmetic and English with a minimum of fifty nothing (45 you tired of case of SC and four-hundredth just in case of ST) marks taken along in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. identical sitting means that a candidate should seem all the four subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English along.
(c) The Candidate should seem within the entrance exam for admission (CEE – 2020).
(d) The Candidate should not be on top of twenty one years or below seventeen years older as on first August 2020. higher ordinance mentioned in (d) on top of is relaxed to twenty two years just in case of B.Sc. passed Candidates. higher ordinance mentioned in (d) on top of is relaxed by three years for scheduled forged and scheduled Tribe candidates.

Syllabus: The CEE-2020 are conducted as per the newest syllabus of AHSEC(Assam Higher Secondary Education Council).
Paper shall be of 3 hours length and shall contain a hundred and twenty multiple alternative queries every carrying one mark. Four (4) marks are awarded for each right answer and one (1) mark are subtracted for each wrong answer. There shall be no marks, in case, the candidate selects over one possibility within the answer sheet. CEE-2020 are supported state Higher pedagogy Council (AHSEC) program .
The examination are Multiple alternative queries (MCQ) sort and comprise of one Paper of three (three) hours length with following distribution:
a) Mathematic : forty queries
b) Physics : forty queries
c) Chemistry : forty queries
Medium of Entrance Test: The question paper contains queries each in “English” and “Assamese” language.
Admit Card: The Candidate are ready to transfer his/her admit card from the University website www.astu.ac.in from seventeenth Apr , 2020 forwards by getting into his/her form number/User name and password generated throughout submission of on-line application.
Application Charge: associate degree Application Fee of Rs. 750/- (Seven hundred and fifty only) is to be paid on-line, that facilitate payment through Debit Card/ Credit Card/ web Banking. Assam Science and Technology University shall not settle for text of the appliance and the other documents. Fee once paid, isn’t refundable.
